1) For many centuries in human history, God was worshiped as a woman, the Great Goddess from whom all life flowed. In the last two or three thousand years in the West, it has been common to think of God as a male and in European cultures to think of God as a Caucasian. Try thinking of God as a female and as being of another racial or ethnic group. What changes might develop in one’s own self-concept and in the way one relates to God if this were true?

3) Write a short defense of atheism. Then write a short defense of theism. Then write a short defense of agnosticism. Discuss why a person might sincerely and rationally hold a view contrary to yours.
