Now, write a paragraph for each character that shows what they are really like, and describe why they are unable to show this side of themselves to those close to them.

Review each of the paragraphs for the four characters. What character stands out as the most interesting one you wouldd like to write about, the one you are most compelled to explore further. Can you imagine writing your microfiction story with them as the protagonist?

Now, set a timer for 10 minutes and write a draft of the story. If you want to keep writing after the timer goes off, please do so.
