2. Discuss how you will help a parent understand the special education referral process. You must post a researched response with at least 2 references
3. Do you feel it is necessary to understand diverse cultures and lifestyles when you are in a counseling relationship? What would you do, as a counselor, if you do not agree with a client’s lifestyle, political ideology, or religious value system? Some questions to ponder: Would you refer the client to another counselor? Would you try to remain totally objective or neutral in your counselling sessions?
